Why We Built This
For too long, finding the right BSL agency has been harder than it needs to be. Public services, schools, businesses and individuals often rely on outdated lists, word-of-mouth recommendations, or time-consuming Google searches that don’t always lead to verified or active agencies.
We saw a real need for a centralised, searchable, and trusted resource – not only to help clients book interpreters more easily, but also to give agencies a professional space to showcase their services, reach new audiences, and be part of a quality-driven community.
We also noticed that many excellent agencies – especially Deaf-owned or smaller regional teams – weren’t getting the visibility they deserve. This directory gives those agencies the platform they need to grow, while helping service users find interpreting support they can trust.

Who We Are
This platform was created by people who understand the interpreting world – because we’ve lived in it. With years of experience working within Deaf communities, alongside interpreters, agencies, and accessibility teams, we know the challenges that exist on both sides of the booking process.
Our team includes Deaf professionals, accessibility advocates, and digital creators who are passionate about equal access to communication. We’ve seen how much difference the right interpreter can make – not just in delivering accurate information, but in creating dignity, understanding, and connection.
That’s why every part of this platform has been designed with accessibility first: we support video listings in BSL, have built-in filters to help users find exactly what they need, and we aim to meet or exceed WCAG accessibility standards for web content.
